Science- Can you make a model hand? Following on from your school science lessons, have a go at making a model hand, showing the bones of the hand and how they move. Check out YouTube for inspiration :)
History - Try making an Anderson Shelter, these were used in WW2 to protect people during air raids.
Our class artist is Stormzy, real name Michael Ebenazer Kwadjo Omari Owuo Jr., We have chosen Stormzy as our class artist for a number of reasons, the children in year 6 are familiar with his songs and achievements in recent years, for example in 2019 he became the first black artist to headline Glastonbury. Stormzy has talked about his childhood and how he wasn't particularly well-behaved at school, however he understood how important it was to work hard and he achieved good grades. Before becoming a successful musician Stormzy studied for an apprenticeship in Leamington Spa and worked in quality assurance for two years at an oil refinery.
