At Banks Road Primary School, we believe learning doesn’t stop when the bell rings! That’s why we offer a wide range of exciting extra-curricular clubs and activities, running until after 4pm, designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and develop new skills.

🍽️ Lunchtime Clubs & Activities

Every lunchtime is buzzing with energy and opportunity! From creative arts and sports to quiet reading corners and games, our lunchtime clubs give children the chance to explore their interests, make new friends, and enjoy their break in a fun and purposeful way.

🎨 After School Clubs

We’re proud of the diverse and dynamic after school clubs available to our children. Whether it’s sports, music, STEM, drama, or crafts—there’s something for everyone! Most clubs are completely free, and places are offered on a first-come, first-served basis via termly letters. If a club is full, we operate a waiting list and do our best to offer additional places when they become available.

🎓 Children’s University: Celebrating Learning Everywhere

We’re thrilled to be part of the Children’s University initiative, which recognises and rewards children for taking part in high-quality learning activities outside of school hours—including our after school clubs! Every hour spent in a club can count towards their Children’s University Passport, helping them build a record of achievement and a love of lifelong learning.
