About Our Class
Welcome to Year 5W. We are excited for a fantastic half term filled with discovery and growth. This term, we'll be diving into a range of engaging topics and activities.
Curriculm Map - Summer 2
Maths - Shape, Position and direction, Negative numbers, Converting units and Volume.
English - King Kong by Anthony Browne
Science - The Scienfic Method
Geography - Interconnected Amazon
Religion - The prince who became the Buddah
PE - Exploring, striking and fielding (Thursday).
PSHE - Realtionships
Music - Strings (Tuesday).
Homework
Homework will be set every Friday. The Children will be set a maths activity on My Maths and Spellings will be shared on Class Dojo.r.
Your child should also be practising the multiplication tables for 10 minutes, each day.
Children are expected to read for around 10 minutes for five days across the week.
