About Our Class
Welcome to Year 2S's class webpage! We are excited for a fantastic half term filled with discovery and growth. This term, we’ll be diving into a range of engaging topics and activities. You can find our Curriculum Map below, outlining everything your child will be learning this half term.
Curriculum Map - Summer 2
In Spring 2 we will be learning about:
- English - Rosie Revere, Engineer. The outcome for this will be writing an Invention Narrative and an Explanation Text
- Maths - Time, Statistics, Position and Direction
- Science - Animals including Humans
- History- The Metal Ages
- Computing- Staying Safe Online
- Religion- Who is Jewish and what do they believe?
- Music - Resonate Music
- DT- Wheels and AxleS
Our PE day is Thursday.
Homework
Homework will be sent home every Friday. The Children will bring home a maths and spelling activity that will be due back in on the following Thursday. Please send the children in with their homework folder.
Your child should also be practising the multiplication tables for 10 minutes, each day.
Children are expected to read for around 10 minutes for five days across the week.
